Concert Jose Luis Martinez - Guitar Art Circle

Jose Luis Martinez will play again within the Guitar Art Circle. The concert is scheduled for Friday, 3rd November at 20.00 in the newly opened House of Culture of Guitar Art Festival and the host of the concert will be the Embassy of Spain in Belgrade.

José Luis Martinez has performed at the Guitar Art Festival for the first time in 2005. After the concert, Martinez said that it was a great pleasure to perform at the Belgrade festival and that our audience has a fine artistic preference and that is very involved in the music itself. Jose Louis Martinez also congratulated the organizers for being the creators of one of the most important guitar festivals in the world.

To the audience’s great pleasure and our classical guitarist, Jose Luis Martinez will perform again in Belgrade for the first time after 12 years.  The Audience will have the opportunity to hear a great musical diversity of rhythms, styles and forms during his concert program.

Jose Luis Martinez is a Spanish classical guitarist, composer and producer. He is a regular guest of the world’s most prestigious festivals. His most significant performances are the concerts at “Teatro Real” and “Auditorio Nacional de Madrid” and after those, the concert in the royal Hall in Seville and the “Prado” museum where he, amongst others, performed with Teresa Berganza. He also performed at Parisian Guitar Academy and the National Theater in Mexico. In Poland, he performed at the concert “Aranjuez” for his Majesty Prince Phillip.

In addition to the concert, a retrospective photo exhibition featuring Spanish artists who participated in the Guitar Art Festival between 2000 and 2017 will be organized.
