Spectacular concert of the famous Balkan guitarist Vlatko Stefanovski and the orchestra of 30 accordions on the open stage of the Kanli Tower

The audience will be impressed with the new musical adventure of the famous Balkan guitarist Vlatko Stefanovski and the rich sound of the Kragujevac Academic Accordion Orchestra who performs under the baton of conductor Predrag Kostović. The spectacle on the open stage of Kanli Tower is scheduled for August 16^th from 9:00 PM in Herceg Novi.

Stefanovski and the Kragujevac Academic Accordion Orchestra prepared a special repertoire in which they will perform the love theme from the movie "Cinema Paradiso" and other works by Morricone, popular concerts by Argentine master Astor Piazzolla and a couple of Stefanovski's own compositions.

Tickets are now on sale online via new.tickets.rs and at box offices of Kanli Tower and Park Hall, at the price of 20 euros.

This will be a unique opportunity to introduce to the audience to the incredible power and virtuosity of one of the best accordion orchestras in this part of Europe. The orchestra adapted its way of playing and its program to Vlatko's style, whom everyone knows as a genius improviser for whom there are no secrets on the guitar.

Vlatko Stefanovski, as one of the greatest guitar virtuosos of this area, is recognizable for his fusion of musical styles, Macedonian traditional irregular rhythms and contemporary rock. In his rich career, he had many successful collaborations with great international and domestic musicians. The well-known Macedonian guitarist Vlatko Stefanovski started playing the guitar at the age of 13. He founded the group "Leb i sol", which became one of the most popular on the scene of the former Yugoslavia, with 13 released albums. Stefanovski gained the status of a cult guitarist and toured all over the world. In the years that followed, Stefanovski built a very successful solo career.

Kragujevac Academic Orchestra of Accordionists was founded in 2018 with the aim of promoting the accordion as an academic instrument. Bearing in mind that the area where we live has been at the crossroads of East and West for centuries, it is a great luck that the influences of both sides reflected in the most positive way on the art of playing this instrument, and that the city of Kragujevac is recognized worldwide for its accordion school. "The music performed by the Kragujevac Academic Accordion Orchestra has everything: emotion, content, virtuosity...", the orchestra is conducted by Predrag Kostović.
