Slobodan Milivojevic, a Serbian guitarist, was born in 1980. in Knin, Croatia. He graduated from the University of Music in Belgrade with the professor Srdjan Tosic. He finished his postgraduate studies at the Indiana University in Bloomington (USA) and received the prestigious ArtistDiploma while working with Ernesto Bitteti (repertoire from 20th and 21st century) and Nigel North (repertoire from renaissance and baroque). He is currently finishing his Doctoral studies at the University of Music in Belgrade with the mentor, Professor Srdjan Tosic. He won the first prizes at the International Latin-American Competition in the Performance of Music from Spain and Latin America in 2007, and at the „Indianapolis Musicale“competition.  He had many solo concerts and recitals in Serbia and abroad (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, USA, Norway). He is also active as a chamber musician, and he plays outstanding concerts in guitar trio „Amicus“ together with the guitarists O. Grcak and M. Janjic. He works as a guitar teacher in the Music School „Josip Slavenski“ in Belgrade.
