Duo Duende

Montenegro

As a guitar duo, Duo Duende, formed in 2019, was part of the Music in Sunset project organized by Porto Montenegro in Tivat. The following year, in 2020, they presented themselfs to the audience in Bar at the 31^st "Bar Chronicle" festival. The duo performs works by some of the most important composers of guitar literature, including: F. Tarrega, I. Albenis, E. Gismonti, A. Piazzolla, as well as compositions by F. Beilinson, a prominent Argentine guitarist and composer of the XXI century.

Aleksandra Tepavčević (1993) was born in Cetinje. She obtained her Bachlor education at the Music Academy in Cetinje studying with prof. D. Cerović and at the conservatory "Giuseppe Tartini" in Trieste studying with prof. S. Torlontano. She won numerous awards at competitions in country and region. Aleksandra was a participant in numerous guitar festivals. She attended masterclasses with renowed guitarists, including G. Krivokapić, M. Dilla, G. Bianco, A. Desiderio, H Kappel, I. Romer, R. Gallen... She is currently employed as a guitar teacher in primary music schools in Bar and Tivat.

Ivana Cikić (1989) was born in Bar. She gained her higher education and Bachlor studies in Podgorica and at the Music Academy in Cetinje in the class of prof. S. Bulatović. She finished her undergraduate and Master's studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of prof. V. Ogrizović. During her schooling, she won first prizes several times as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. She has successfully performed in Montenegro with solo concerts and chamber music concerts. He works as a guitar teacher in music schools in Bar and Budva.
