Vassilis Vasileiadis was born in Pontini (Grevena-Greece) and lives in Kozani. He started studying and manufacturing Greek traditional musical instruments while he was still a college student. He has manufactured classical guitars since 1980. Vassilis has participated in numerous festivals and exhibitions and many well known performers, such as Gilberto Puente (Mexico), Argyriadis (Spain), Cotsiolis, Boudounis, Batskinis, Hiliopoulos, Foudoulis (Greece) and others, have performed with his guitars. He is engaged in staying up-to-date on modern methods of guitar manufacturing at international level. His workshop is a place where guitars are designed based on continuous researches on acoustics, innovative manufacturing methods and materials, such as carbon-fibers, double top and back with honey chomp, nomex and natural resins for the handmade varnishes. His guitars are made of European Spruce and Canadian Cedar for the top, while the back and sides are made of Rio Rosewood, Indian Rosewood, Canadian Cherry, Cocobolo, Bubinga, Pao Ferro. His guitars are characterized by the "easiness" in playing, exceptional sound and excellent appearance.
