DJUSI KOVAČ

Hungary

  • concert

Đusi Kovač, guitarist, was born on November 26, 1975 in Zrenjanin. From an early age, he played the folk instruments, such as accordion and tambourine, and in his teenage years he showed greater interest in the guitar, which has been his number one companion since then, along with its other relatives, mandolin, balalaika, tambourine, double bass and bass guitar.

Equally skilled in almost all genres, he played in folk ensembles, acoustic jazz and electric rock and roll ensembles, trying to combine contrasts such as rock guitar and a large tamburitza orchestra.

Such versatility led him to collaborate with famous names of Serbian artistic scene, such as: Zvonko Bogdan, Bora Djordjević, Robi Lakatoš, Djordje Balašević, Bebi Dol, Novica Zdravković, Tanja Banjanin, Beki Bekić, Zoran Kalezić, Merima Njegomir.
