Yvette Cornelia Holzwarth is a violinist, vocalist, and composer based in Los Angeles. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Yvette began her classical training on violin at the age of three. She has greatly expanded her range of styles to include Hungarian and Balkan folk, Arabic, Americana, experimental contemporary music, improvisation, and songwriting. She holds an M.F.A. in Performance and Composition from the California Institute of the Arts and a B.A. in American Literature from UCLA.

As a violinist, Yvette has performed with orchestras in prestigious venues from Walt Disney Concert Hall to the Royal Opera House in Oman. She has enjoyed playing violin for many independent artists, singer-songwriters, bands, film scores, and new music composers -Including K. Washington, V. D. Parks, A. Grande, G. Moreno and more. She currently performs in a duo with renowned guitarist Miroslav Tadić playing Balkan music and their original compositions and improvisations.
