Tamara was born in 1990 in Valjevo. She had her first public performance at the age of 6, and at the age of 14 she started singing fado music for the first time, which brought her closer to the Iberian Peninsula as a geographical region and Portugal as culture.

Through music, she began studying Portuguese and Spanish in Serbia and Spain. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. After completing her master's studies in Belgrade, she received a scholarship for a four-year study program in Boston. Tamara started her singing studies at Berkeley in January 2017. In the last few years she has performed in Belgrade and throughout Serbia, then in Europe in Madrid, Lisbon, Prague, Ljubljana, Maribor, while in the USA she had the opportunity to perform and present her solo repertoire in Boston and, in the prestigious Carnegie Hall and Symphony Space in New York.

In addition to vocal performances, Tamara is also engaged in musical research of various geographical areas. From Spain and Portugal, North Africa, the Balkans and the Middle East, she finds her own musical expression which is based on the musical heritage of all these cultures. For her contribution to Mediterranean and Balkan music, she received the Outstanding Achievement Award – Mediterranean Music Institute MMI, Boston, USA.

In addition to nurturing traditional musical forms, Tamara also writes her own music that is colored by Spanish and Mediterranean sentiment, but presented in a contemporary musical context.

In the last few months, Tamara, with her recent project Transibérica, which is her debut album based on the fusion of Spanish and Portuguese music, presented this geographical and artistic space under the auspices of famous Spanish producer and guitarist Javier Limon and famous and acclaimed composer Diogo Clemente. This album will soon be released worldwide, under the seal of Sony Portugal (SME Iberia).
