Swiss classical guitarist, Johan Smith, is a highly acclaimed musician, bringing virtuosic interpretation to his instrument. Winner of the very prestigious Guitar Foundation of America and defined as the Classical Guitar Revelation by Guitare Classique magazine, he completed several tours in Canada, Japan, and the USA, where he made his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York.

Smith is also a winner of numerous international competitions in Asia and Europe. He is regularly invited to perform abroad as a soloist. Smith currently teaches in Switzerland. Born in 1990, he obtained a Master of Arts in Soloist in 2019 and a Master of Instrumental Pedagogy in the class of Dagoberto Linhares at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne.
