Maja Le Roux Obradović studied guitar with prof. A. Ponce in Paris and prof. D. Linares in Lausanne. She often performed in chamber ensembles, and as a soloist, she played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from London, the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the Belgrade Sinfonietta Orchestra, among others. For many years, Le Roux Obradović has been intensively engaged in composing, and her musical language, tonal and romantic, is often influenced by the Balkan musical heritage. She composed two concertos for guitar and string orchestra – La Ballade de la Vallée Magique and Concerto Latino, and numerous chamber compositions. She is the author of music for two films.

Her Petite suite pour un Prince, a piece for solo guitar inspired by the famous tale written by Saint-Exupéry, was the subject of a show performed in four languages in five countries. In September 2022, her work Dositej Obradović, written for mezzo-soprano, tenor, baritone, cello, flute, and piano, and commissioned by the Foundation Novi Sad - Capital of Culture 2022, was premiered in Novi Sad. In November 2022, her third concert for guitar and orchestra, Concerto Sud-Atlantique, had its world premiere at the Festival de guitar de Versoix in Geneva. The guitar performer was prominent Serbian guitarist Vojin Kocić. Since 2021, Le Roux Obradović has been collaborating with the School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija. Strings and Stars is bringing every year an international soloist to play with the School's orchestra on the stage of Kolarc Endowment and in Ćuprija. In 2012, the Ministry of Culture of France awarded Maja Le Roux Obradović the Order of Knight of Arts and Literature.
