Aniello Desiderio graduated in 1992 at the Conservatory of Music in Alessandria. He performed in public for the first time at the age of eight, displaying such gifts that music critics started to speak of him as an "enfant prodigy"… a Genius... the Orpheus of the Guitar… He won 18 first International Awards (International Competitions in Messina /Italy, 1986/, in Havana /Cuba, 1988/, in Tokyo /Japan, 1988/, Competition Francisco Tarrega /Spain, 1992/, in Sanremo /Italy, 1994/, in Madrid /Spain, 1995/ in Bremen /Germany, 1999. His international career started in 1989 during the International Guitar Festival in Volos (Greece), now performing in the meantime all over the world. In 2008 he founded Quartetto Furioso together with his brothers Genarro (Violin) and Gaeteno (Piano) plus the Percussionist Salvatore Minale. In 2005 he has become a Professor for Guitar at the Music Akademy Koblenz.
Genarro Desiderio
Genarro Desiderio began studying classical guitar, and then piano and violin. He graduated violin at S. Pietro A Maiella Conservatore in Naples in 1996. As a versatile musician, when he completed his studies, he felt the urge to approach other musical styles and therefore he took up an intense concert activity which led him to confront both jazz and pop. He toured worldwide as an actor and solo violinist in music theatre, in the jazz quartet, with his brothers Aniello and Gaetano. He collaborated with international known artists such as: Walter Attanasi, Ennio Morricone, Lionel Richi, Renato Zero, Gino Paoli, etc. He has recorded several albums ranging from classical to pop, jazz and folk music. He is currently engaged as concertmaster and solo player in the TV programme Amici. He is also working on a new concert and recording project called Vivaldi & Piazzola with Quartetto Furioso.
Gaetano Deziderio
Gaetano Desiderio was born and raised in a family of musicians and as very young began to study piano. He graduated in the class M. Massimo Bertucci with the greatest number of votes at the Conservatory San Pietro a Majella in Naples. In the year 2000 he specialized in contemporary music at the Conservatory di Avellino, and performed solo and with his brothers Aniello and Gennaro, world-class musicians, on radio and TV programs such as Domenica In, 30 hours to live...
He participated as an accompanist to various competitions for violin and also on a Hit Festival Santa Vincent. For many years he Works as a professor at the department for piano and music pedagogy. He performes within group Tango Con Passion together with Romulo Larrea and Veronica Larc for the project Neapolitan passion. He released a CD for a famous label Termidor Muzikferlag within project of Aniello Desiderio Quartetto Furioso.
Salvatore Minale
Salvatore Minale graduated percussion at the Music Conservatory D. Cimarosa in Avellino. He attended the courses: Batteria with M ° Golino, a course for North African and South American percussion with M ° Yamin Marzuck, for the tambourine, drum, and many other percussions. He is also active as a composer. He went on tour with famous artists and recorded for many famous publishing houses. He has collaborated with: Lino Sastri, Andrea Bocelli, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dionne Warwick, Lucio Dalla, Gino Paoli, Caetano Veloso, and others.
