Ivan Hočevar is a guitarist born in 1991 in Aranđelovac, Serbia. He completed his elementary music education (violin) at the "Petar Ilić" Music School and later switched to classical guitar during high school. He continued his studies at the Music High School in Belgrade under Professors Miloš Mijailović and Samir Dahić, while also taking private lessons with Aleksandar Hači-Đorđević and Slobodan Milivojević. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in guitar at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, studying under Professor Vera Ogrizović.

He attended masterclasses with renowned professors such as Thomas Offermann, Aniello Desiderio, Hubert Käppel, and Zoran Dukić. Ivan has performed both as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles (with flute, piano, clarinet, saxophone, and guitar), organizing concerts at the Student Cultural Center in Belgrade, the "Parobrod" Cultural Center, the Italian Institute of Culture, and the National Museum in Aranđelovac. A highlight of his career was a performance with the "Belgrade Symphony Orchestra" under conductor Radan Jovanović at the "Marble and Sounds" Art Festival.

He gained teaching experience working as a guitar instructor at "Amadeus" Music School (Belgrade), "Petar Ilić" (Aranđelovac), and "Božidar Trudić" (Smederevska Palanka).

Before focusing on classical music, Ivan was active in rock, jazz, and reggae scenes, performing with various bands. He was the drummer for FC Apatride UTD, recording the album Third Worldism in Amsterdam, and collaborated with American producer Bjorn Thorsrud. He also played in Jimi Triple-B’s Blues Band and Soulcraft, and he is currently the bassist for Del Arno Band. He has recorded the albums Iznova počinjem and DAB Intimno (with Jovan Matić).
