Graduating with top marks in guitar performance in 1987, Vito Nicola Paradiso quickly established himself by winning numerous national and international awards throughout the late 1980s and beyond. As a performer, he has given concerts in prestigious theaters and concert halls across Italy, France, England, Spain, Germany, Scotland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland, Turkey, China, Japan, Mexico, Argentina, Canada, and the United States, including states such as California, New York, and Massachusetts.

He has performed as a soloist with orchestra and collaborated with internationally renowned artists in chamber music settings. His discography includes several solo albums recorded for labels like Da Vinci Classics, GuitArt, Edizioni Curci, and WLO Records.

An esteemed pedagogue, he is the author of the best-selling method La Chitarra Volante, widely adopted in Italy, Europe, the United States, and South America. The method has been translated into English and Portuguese and praised by leading international magazines.

As a composer, he focuses on descriptive music, regularly receiving commissions from American universities and colleges. In 2000, he ranked first among 150 candidates at Italy’s First National Competition for guitar teaching in state schools.

He has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Chitarra d'Oro for teaching (2012) and two Maestro d'Italia awards (2008, 2012). In recent years, he has dedicated his concerts exclusively to his own compositions and transcriptions of Italian music, available on major digital platforms.
