Momčilo Aleksandrić (1991) is a Serbian guitarist, composer, and researcher. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under Prof. Srđan Tošić, and holds a Doctorate from the University of Minnesota (USA), where he studied in the class of Prof. Maja Radovanlija.

In 2018, he achieved significant international recognition, winning the prestigious Altamira International Guitar Competition in Hong Kong and receiving awards in Miami, South Carolina, and at the Guitar Foundation of America (GFA) Convention in Kentucky. He has performed and delivered lectures worldwide, including in Australia, Thailand, China, and Costa Rica. His research has been published in the renowned Soundboard magazine, with his doctoral dissertation focusing on innovative techniques in the works of Fernando Sor.

Beyond performing, Aleksandrić is deeply involved in music promotion and organization. He is a co-founder of the Belgrade Guitar Society and the Classical Guitar Coalition in Minneapolis, through which he has collaborated with world-class guitarists such as Aniello Desiderio and Miroslav Tadić. Since 2021, he has focused on composing new music for guitar and ensembles, drawing primary inspiration from the cultural heritage of the Balkans. He performs on an Altamira N3 guitar, crafted by luthier Hanson Yao.
